Here is my version of this classic dish – not that I have any claim to being an authority on what is “authentic” Chinese food. I am an authority, however, on what is super incredibly yummy.
What people says about this recipe?
Debbie Cruzelle; Cut two partially frozen chicken breasts into small cubes add a little sesame oil, soy sauce and white pepper mix then stir fry and add remained of ingredients! Enjoy 😉
Andre Hamilton II; Skipped on the onions but this was very easy to make for someone that barely cooks. Cutting up the chicken raw is a great idea too. Takes too long to cook otherwise.
Daniel Stimson; This #FriedRice is a regular dinner at our house. I make the slow cooker teriyaki chicken the day before and use brown rice. Veggies depend on what’s in the fridge and freezer. Husband likes chopped peanuts on top, so I cook it all in peanut oil instead of sesame oil. So good!
jay; I made the teriyaki chicken also she stated in recipe. Next time I will not add any sauce to veggies because the sauce from chicken was enough. Took out peas and added broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Used brown rice and only one egg because I don’t like eggs really but it felt weird to make it without it. I would make this again.
Mona Orsulich; Used suggested slow cooker teriyaki chicken recipe. Chicken was a little overcooked. I would cook it for less time or add extra water/stock. Overall VERY TASTY and EASY! Kids and hubby loved it!!
Rosemarie; Made this dish tonight and had all ingredients on hand except the sesame oil (which is now on my shopping list). It was easy to make and tasted so much better than takeout! I found a new weeknight dinner!
