Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken. Slow cooked chicken in a sweet and tangy Asian inspired sauce.
What people says about this recipe?
Taylor Upp; It was a hit with my husband, which is great. I love that it didn’t take too long to make. The only thing I’d probably do for next time is add a little chicken broth to make the chicken a little juicier.
Carro Creations; This was pretty good. I was worried about there being too much soy sauce but the honey and hoisin seemed to help balance it. It makes a lot of sauce more than we actually needed, next time I will cut down on the sauce portion. Would make again.
Maureen Elizabeth; This recipe is so good! Doubled the sauce recipe, cooked the chicken for 3 hours, steamed the broccoli separately.
Kathy Nguyen; Instructions says to take 3 tbsp of the sauce out and mix with cornstarch, then put it back in and stir with the rest to thicken. It didn’t work for me, I recommend pouring the sauce into a small pot and heating it over the stove, with cornstarch slurry added. Put mine on medium-high heat and it thickened quickly! It was delicious served over rice and some sriracha!
Stephanie Chatt; Really good! I used a little less soy sauce and honey. Sauce didn’t thicken up, so I might put it in a pan and thicken it on the stove next time. Will definitely make again!
Jackie Millington; We made our own hoisin sauce which is basically what is already in the sauce plus peanut butter. Cooked bone in chicken thigh for three hours, added four TBS of sauce to a pan and stir fried some Asian veggie mix with it. Definitely will make again.
