What people says about this recipe?
Kay Chambers Nusz Schlabach; I used chicken thighs and larger pieces of vegetables plus celery as that is the way I like it. I use regular piecrust and this would be pretty with Christmas tree piecrust. It was very tasty and I will make it many many more times.
KayBee; Turned out great! Right consistency and everything!! I added a couple of chicken bouillon cubes for more flavor. And I used chicken thighs instead of breasts because it’s more tender. The puff pastries added a nice crunch! Great dish!
Trisha; Delicious! Great for a winter day. Didn’t thicken as much as I would’ve liked but the taste was great!
Jennifer Kiervin; Turned out really nicely! I let it simmer in the crock pot with the lid off to really thicken it at the end.
Innerspace; Delicious and family approved. I added a bit of herbs de provence and a splash of white wine vinegar.
Dawn Wittner; I sauté onions, garlic and added celery. I added broccoli and cauliflower instead of peas at the last hour and I did not have any thickening – the flavor was superb! A definite make again!
Stacy Timm; This was really good. My husband even liked it! I added a red bell pepper since it was going to go bad soon. Highly recommend this.
Trisha Pulsipher; I made this today. Pretty easy and tasty. I’d definitely recommend seasoning to taste. The puff pastries were a disappointment so next time I’ll just make my own loaf. Also even for a family of four I had tons of leftovers so that’s a plus!
C Bo55; Made this just now and came out perfect 👍 add the starch if you want a nice cream texture. Add more if you want to thicken it up a little more.
