AR; I used some red pepper flakes to bring heat to the dish. I used yellow pepper instead of green because it’s what i had on hand. And I also used chicken sausage that had basil and mozzarella mixer inside the casing. The rice did come out a little under cooked not by much. I think that’s because i used a Dutch oven. I did have to add extra broth through out the cook time. Otherwise it was a really great recipe and i will be making it again! Husband approves as well.
Jasmine LaBine; This is one of my favorite recipes I’ve made from Pinterest! I used brown rice because that’s all I had on hand and it turned out fine. When cooking the meat, I added some red pepper flakes for a little bit of a kick!
Kelly Odett; This was really good. Very filling! I added a fresh tomato chopped up, with the canned that the recipe called for. I also used Jasmine rice, which I really like the flavor and texture better than regular. Everything else was the same.
Knicely Made; I made this in a Crock Pot because I had prp laser surgery on my eye on Monday and this turned pretty good. I know it would definitely be better on the stove top. I will update when I make it as directed.
Zye Jo; Made it and it was perfect! Pretty easy meal to make on a work night.
