What people says about this recipe?
Brittany Hyland; DELICIOUS! Left the beer out and used a chuck roast instead of beef roast. Also, added horseradish sauce to the sandwich. Easy and yummy!
Aiko; It turned out pretty good! Added a little more of the French onion soup for flavor. May want to add horseradish mayo for more zing to it. Cooked for 5 hours and chuck roast was so soft!!
Ariel Preskey; This was absolutely delicious! My fiancée wants to add it to our list of go tos
Lindsey Wandler; I’ve made this 3 times already it’s SO GOOD!!!!! Make sure you melt provolone and add horseradish mayo! Seriously, it makes this dish that much better! I skip the beer and instead of French onion soup I use Knorr’s onion and roasted garlic mix!
Caitlyn Gausman; Followed the recipe and loved it !:) We forgot to buy french fries so had to make mashed potatoes, lol. It was good I will make again.
Brittanie Cooper; Had to crockpot 7 hours on low and it was perfect! I did not use beer but added liquid aminos which gave it a bit of saltiness and an amazing flavor!
Laurie Loft; #TESTED Excellent, although I would never add salt as the soups are plenty salty! Also used Costco Torta rolls which are smaller and crispier than the French rolls. 🙂
Tiffany Trecartin; These were delicious! We didn’t have provolone so we used Swiss instead. I bought a package of au jus powder and used a bit of the roast drippings added into it. Easy and tasty family meal. Will be making again very soon!
