What people says about this recipe?
Michelle Bvunzai; Tasted fantastic. I used around 500g of macaroni but I followed the rest of the recipe. Very easy to make and very filling. to make my fussy kids eating it also. They loved it.
Joey Marie; I added a TON of seasonings, onion, green pepper and corn. Also doubled the meat, noodles and cheese cause thats how I cook everything. This is SO good!!
Kathleen Cassidy; Trying it out, I have ground turkey to use. Macaroni has about 10 minutes left, made a half batch, only used 1 tsp of soy sauce because I’m not too sure about that, but the meat sauce part tastes good. Making a couple quick dinners for tonight and the next couple days.
Katherine; Halved the recipe and omitted soy sauce (didn’t have) and bay leaves (don’t like). I went light on the Italian seasoning and used the normal amount of noodles. My six year old loved it but next time I’m using tomato sauce in place of the diced tomatoes.
Amy Pronovost Eason; Made 1/2 the recipe with 1/2 lb ground beef and about 1 cup red beans (1/3 cup dry), decreased seasoned salt to 1 tsp, Italian seasoning to 1/2 tbsp and used 15 oz can stewed petite diced tomatoes. Delicious.
Dawn Jackson; This was delicious! I used an Italian cheese blend because it was on hand. I will use a little less salt next time. I think my Italian seasoning has some salt.
Liz Groth; So good! I cut the recipe in half and made some with meat and some with morningstar crumbles (for a vegetarian version). It was super easy to make and my boyfriend went back for a second heaping bowl! Will definitely make again.
sabina shah; Totally satisfying! Followed what the recipe was calling for but I also added sugar to balance the salt and soy sauce out. Very good!
