This quick black peppered chicken and asparagus stir fry gets all of it’s flavor from leftover homemade black pepper sauce I use for my Crispy Black Peppered Chicken Wings.
What people says about this recipe?
Shivanna Moriarty; Very yummy! The sauce is a snap to make and even without oyster sauce it was delicious. Definitely a go to recipe for when I have asparagus on hand.
Sarah Davis; This was such a hit with the family. Totally hit the spot since we were craving Chinese food but didn’t want to go to a restaurant. I highly recommended adding yellow, red, and green peppers along with red onion it really added so much flavor. I will definitely be making this again.
Danielle; This was really good. I didn’t have oyster sauce or rice vinegar so I used red wine vinegar and honey to take away some of the tangy taste.
Laura; I have never bought Rice wine vinegar like ever but so many recipes call for it and I probably should try it at least once 😂🤣 Still, I made this and instead used a combo of red wine vinegar, water and brown sugar as a substitute, doubled the sauce and used about 1 1/2 pounds chicken. We loved it… Delish!!
Claire K; Really good! I used two chicken breasts and added some bell pepper and shiitake mushroom. Goes great with brown rice!
Krissquared; Solid good dish. Added bell peppers, like so many suggested, and subbed shrimp in place of the chicken. Served over cauliflower rice. Tasty!
Francesca Edwards; Family enjoyed this dinner! I had ran out of rice vinegar so used apple cider vinegar instead. Aside from that I followed the recipe exactly & it came out great!
Brook R; Great recipe! Was a bit of work, but still easy. Huge hit with the family! Made it true to the recipe minus oyster sauce (shellfish allergy) but subbed Worcestershire sauce and it worked perfectly! Will be making this again!
