What people says about this recipe?
Josie Watkins; Turned out great! I used pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon for a fall feel!
Natalie Coates; I made it with brown sugar, 1/4 c ground flax, whole wheat flour and coconut oil. Also I only had unsweetened apple sauce snack cups so used 2 of those. One was a mix with pomegranate and its add a little extra depth to the flavour. Came out nice and light. Exactly 12 muffins.
Journey to Marley; Added 2tbs brewer’s yeast to the batter to make these into lactation muffins. 2tbs butter and 2tbs coconut oil. Also added a strussel topping and flax seeds. SO good!!!
Jerrica Sibley; Turned out amazing! Swapped the egg for 1/4 cup applesauce and did honey instead of sugar. Perfect little treat!
Amber Robertson; Followed the recipe exactly. Very moist and delicious. Both my husband and son loved them. Will be making again for sure!
Sara Hammons Herrington; Delicious! I used whole wheat flour along with the oats, and added raisins and sliced almonds. I also subbed coconut sugar for the regular sugar.
A P; Very good! Used a mixture of white sugar and brown sugar. Added a little nutmeg too. Didn’t use muffin liners and they still turned out great! Yum!
Saara Bee; Good moist muffins. I wouldn’t say they’re too sweet, in fact I thought they were just barely sweet. The subtle flavor of cinnamon is yummy, and the moist texture is really nice. Used 3/4 cup of applesauce because that’s all I had, added about 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips. Would make them again.
Lana Wakefield; I used almond milk and these turned out wonderful! I loved them and so did my parents and my 2 1/2 year old! I’ll definitely be making them again and will try freezing them for after our second baby arrives! They were easy, healthy, and delicious.
